The Euro Area Business Cycle Network (EABCN) has been established as a forum for the better understanding of the Euro area business cycle.

The Network provides links between academic researchers and researchers in central banks and other policy institutions involved in research into this topic.

It is widely recognised that information needs to be exchanged between these parties at both the conceptual level on, for instance issues and at the practical level on data and econometric methodology. The Network will facilitate such exchange of information through:

	this website;
	conferences and workshops organised by the EABCN and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR);
	the dissemination of scientific work through this website and the publication of CEPR working papers, and informal links with CEPR activities;
	training on frontier methodological tools through the organisation of courses.
