Andrea Ferrero is an Economist in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He holds a PhD in Economics from New York University (2006). His dissertation investigates the open economy dimension of fiscal and monetary policy. His current research studies the determinants of external imbalances and their implications for monetary policy.
