Andreas Tsopanakis

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece), an MSc in International Economics, Banking and Finance from Cardiff University (UK) and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Athens. In 2005, he spent 6 months as an intern at the Foreign Exchange Operations Section, Bank of Greece. During the last three years, he has taught a number of courses, at the University of Athens, at various vocational institutes and at the Technological Educational Institute of Kalamata, Greece. Andreas' PhD studies are supported by an ESRC Quota Studentship.

Research interests:
early warning systems of financial crises, financial staibility issues, exchange rate economics, international finance, time series econometrics
