He studied economics at the University of Economics and Business Administration Vienna (WU Wien). In October 2005 he started working on his thesis (topic: Regime Switching Models). Since March 2002 he has been working for Siemens AG Austria in project team "fin4cast" where he is in charge of quantitative research and modelling for equity indices.
