Christos Shiamptanis

Mr Christos Shiamptanis has been a PhD Candidate at the University at Albany, SUNY since September 2003. His BS in Actuarial Science and Economics was from the University at Albany where he graduated with summa cum laude. He is a Fulbright Scholar and he was awarded the Barnes & Nobles Presidential Book Scholarship. His teaching experience involves teaching Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics and International Economics Relations. He worked as a Research Assistant at the Econometric Research Institute at the University at Albany where he conducted survey on New York Economy. His personal research interests include empirical analysis on the European Union and European Monetary Union.

Fiscal and Monetary Policy; International Financial Crises; Structural Change; Applied Econometrics.
