Joined the Owen School after completing a PhD at University of California (Berkeley). Previous degrees from Indiana University (MA), and the University of Kentucky (BS). Has held short-term appointments with the International Monetary Fund, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, the Bank of France, the Bank of Japan, and the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research. Research interests are in the fields of international finance, monetary policy, globalization, political connections and corporate governance.
