Dr. Gulcay Tuna Payaslıoglu has been Senior Instructor at the Department of Economics since September 2003. She has been appointed as the Chair of the Department of Economics since May 2007. Her PhD in Econometrics was from İstanbul University, (2002) where her doctoral dissertation was "The Effects of the Shifts of the Monetary Policy Regimes of the Central Bank of Turkey of the Volatility of the Exchange Rates"
