Hilde C. Bjørnland

Dr. Hilde C. Bjørnland is Professor at the Department of Economics, Norwegian School of Management (BI) since 2006. She is an Advisor to the Research Department in Central Bank of Norway (since 2004) and has been employed as an Economist in the International Monetary Fund (1998-1999). She holds a PhD from University of Oslo (1998) and a MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the LSE (1992). She has published papers in international refereed journals such as Journal of Monetary Economics and Journal of International Economics.
Research interests:
Applied Macroeconomics; Business Cycles; Monetary Policy; Exchange rate Determination; Structural VAR models.
