Prof. Ruelke has recently received his Ph.D. in economics from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU) where he is currently Assistant Professor of International Economics. In 2007 and 2008 he worked with the European Central Bank (ECB) in the Fiscal Policies and Statistics and Coordination Division. Before, he filled the position as a research and teaching assistant at the WHU. During this time he visited the London School of Economics (LSE) and the University Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Prof. Ruelke has published in the Journal of Forecasting, Applied Economics and Journal of International Markets, Institutions and Money. He received the best teaching award in 2007 and a research and travel grant by the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in 2008.

international macro; expectations in financial markets
