Jesús Vázquez

Jesus Vazquez is Associate Professor of Economics at University of the
Basque Country (Spain) since 1994. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the
State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1992 under the supervision
of Professor Steve Cassou. His research articles appear published in a wide range of international
journals including the International Economic Review and the Journal of Economic
Dynamics and Control. Professor Vazquez has been a visiting fellow
at Warwick University (July, 1994) and University of California at San
Diego (1999). He also serves as associate editor of the Spanish
Economic Review.

Monetary Economics, Hyperinflation, Business Cycles, Stock Price Fluctuations, Term Structure of Interest Rates, Simulation-Based Econometric Methods, Markov-Switching Time Series Models
