Lucia Alessi

Lucia Alessi graduated in Political Economics (International Economics) at Bocconi University, Milan and holds a PhD in Economics and Management from Sant'Anna School for Advanced Studies, Pisa. In her doctoral dissertation she exploits models for large cross sections of time series (BVAR, GVAR, Factor models) for financial, industrial and macroeconomic applications. She is currently based at the European Central Bank where she works on monetary policy and financial stability issues.
Research interests:
Monetary policy and financial stability (e.g. early warning indicators), Time series analysis (e.g. factor models for structural analysis and forecasting).
