Dr Mehtap Kesriyeli currently is the Head of Economic Modelling and Forecasting Divisioon at the Research Department of the Central Bank of Turkey since December 2003. Previously she worked as Researcher and Economist at the same Department before obtaining her PhD degree. Her PhD in Economics was from the University of Manchester (2003) where her thesis was "An Empirical Investigation of the Interest Rate Rulus: Cross Country Evidence"
