Michael McMahon

Michael McMahon holds a BA(Econ) from Trinity College Dublin, as well as MSc(Econ), MRes(Econ) and PhD(Econ) from the LSE. He is, since September 2008, an assistant professor in the economics department at Warwick University, and a research affiliate at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at LSE. Michael previously worked as a euro-area economist at the Bank of England. He has also held shorter-term/visiting appointments at the Central Bank of Ireland (1999) and the ECB (2003).
Research interests:
Macroeconomic volatility, monetary economics and international macroeconomics.
