Olaf Posch graduated in Economics in 2003 at Dresden University. Since 2004 he is PhD student in Economics at the University of Hamburg where he also works as a research and teaching assistant. In his PhD thesis he is working on theoretical models of (endogenous) business cycles and their empirical estimation.
Research interests:
Economic growth, business cycles, natural volatility, estimation of jump-diffusion processes
