Rene Segers

Rene Segers (1980) studied Econometrics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In 2004 he joined the Tinbergen Institute to carry out his doctoral research. His research interests include applied macroeconometrics, business cycle modeling in particular, and marketing research. During his four years as a PhD candidate, he presented his work at several international conferences, including EEA-ESEM and INFORMS Marketing Science. Parts of this research have been published in the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics and in Advances in Econometrics.
