Currently, I teach Macroeconomics and Appplied Econometrics at the University of Siena and I am in the Executive Committee of the International Society for Inventory Research (ISIR, Budapest). I have been intensively working on macromodeling and business cycle issues with private and public (Italian Treasury) organizations. In the US, I have been visiting the NBER (1989) and the IMF Research Department (1996) and I have been teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1990).
Research interests:
Macroeconomic and econometric models, DSGE, business cycle, stylized facts, fiscal policy.
