Roberto Garcia-Saltos

Roberto Garcia-Saltos is an Assistant to the Director in the Research Department. Currently he manages the Global Projection Model. Previously, he held positions in various departments at the Fund, including in Research, Western Hemisphere and IMF Institute. His research interests include: assessment of macroeconomic forecasting performance; understanding trade and financial linkages among nations and regions; banking issues in emerging markets, financial contagion, and inflation dynamics. Mr. Garcia-Saltos holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and has worked at the IMF since 1999.
