Saverio Simonelli has been Assistant Professor of Economics at the University Federico II of Naples (Italy) since January 2005. He was previously Visiting at the ECARES -Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium from October 2003 to December 2005. His PhD in Economics was from the University Federico II of Naples (2003) where his doctoral dissertation was “Long Run Growth and Fluctuation. A generalized Dynamic Factor Approach to US Economy".
Research interests:
Macroeconomics (growth, business cycle) and Econometrics (time series, factor model).
