Susanto Basu

Professor, Boston College

Susanto Basu has been Professor of Economics at Boston College since 2005. Previously he was Professor at the University of Michigan from 1992-2005 and Visiting Professor at Harvard from 2002-2004. He is a Research Associate of the NBER, and on the Executive Committee of the CRIW. He has received fellowships from the Sloan Foundation and from the Hoover Institution. Basu received his PhD and AB (summa cum laude) from Harvard University.

Monetary economics, business cycles, productivity dynamics, economic growth, technological change
