Dr. Sushanta Mallick is a Reader [Associate Professor] in International Finance at Queen Mary, University of London. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Warwick, UK. Before joining Queen Mary in 2006, he held posts at Department of Economics, Loughborough University, UK; and at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), London, UK.
Research interests:
Currently his research addresses, first, international business cycle issues, and firm-level exchange rate pass-through; second, development issues such as measuring poverty via consumption deprivation, and examining the effects of alternative sources of financing development.
