Szilard Benk has been Economist at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the central bank of Hungary) since 2004, working on macroeconometric modeling, forecasting and applied research. He holds a PhD from Central European University. His research is focused on the role of credit and financiai innovations in affecting the monetary and real business cycle.
