Thomas Url has been Economist at the Austrian Institute for Economic Research since January 1994. Before he was Assistant Professor at the Economics Department of the Institue for Advanced Studies in Vienna. His PhD in Economics was from the University of Graz where his dissertation topic was "The Effects of Exchange Rate Policy on the Wage and Price Formation in Austria".
Research interests:
European Economic and Monetary Union, Econometric Applications to Economic Policy Issues, Capital Based Old Age Provision and Insurance Industry.
