Tim Oliver Berg is an economist at the Ifo Institute in Munich. He received his doctoral degree in economics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2010, where he was a teaching and research assistant at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS). Before joining Goethe University in 2006, he obtained a Diploma in economics from the University of Freiburg. His research and policy interests include monetary economics, business cycle analysis, empirical macroeconomics, the euro area, and panel data data econometrics.
