About the Network

The Euro Area Business Cycle Network (EABCN) was founded in 2002. The network is governed and directed by a steering committee and a scientific committee. The Steering Committee, consisting of senior representatives from each of the participating institutions, nominates the members of the Scientific Committee.

The Scientific Committee currently comprises four academics and two central bank representatives and is responsible for developing the network’s research agenda and for ensuring that its activities are planned according to its objectives.
