2016 AAYE General Assembly

The Programmes Committee of the 2016 Association of African Young Economists General Assembly invites proposal submissions for the breakaway sessions and proposal of full research papers at its first General Assembly, taking place from 05 - 06 May, 2016, in Yaounde, Cameroon.

Themed “Boosting Investment and Business Environment in Africa Today: Digital Financial Sector Development as an Optimal Strategy for Financial Inclusion”, the Assembly programme will focus on the environment of digital finance and its relation with the economic development in Africa.

Workshop submissions should be for a maximum of 2 hours and can be made by filling in the Online Nomination Form downloadable from the AAYE web site (www.aaye.org), and emailing it to [email protected] with CC to [email protected] and [email protected] or sending it by registered post to:

The deadline for submissions is 1700 hours GMT on the 29 February 2016 for the call for session and on the 15th March, 2016 for the call for full paper. Only emailed submissions received by close of business on the deadline date and posted submissions bearing a postmark within the deadline will be considered.
