Alexander Mihailov

Dr Alexander Mihailov has been Lecturer in Economics at the University of Reading since September 2006. He was previously Lecturer at the University of Essex (2003-2006), Research Fellow at the “Créa” Institute of Applied Macroeconomics of the University of Lausanne (1998-2001) and Economist at the Research Department of the Bulgarian National Bank (1991-1996). He holds PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne (2004).

international macroeconomics and finance;
monetary theory and policy;
institution design, political economy and socioeconomic dynamics;
heterogeneous information, learning and asset pricing
