Francesca Monti is a PhD student in Economics at ULB, Universite' Libre de Bruxelles. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Engineering at Politecnico of Milan, Italy, she has worked for several months at the European Central Bank, on the one hand studying the definition of robust monetary policy rules and on the other examining the criticalities related to the implementation of optimal control in cointegrated VAR models.
