Dr. Sci. Ivan Kitov has been a Head of the Laboratory for Regional Seismology, Institute for the Dynamics of the Geospheres (IDG), Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Associate Professor for Geophysics at Moscow Physical-Technical Institute. PhD in geophysics (1989) from Moscow Institute for Physics of the Earth, RAS; Dr. Sci. in physics and mathematics (1995), RAS. Currently work for an international organization in Vienna. Member of Noeg, International Econometric Society, founding member - Society for the Study of Economic Inequality.
