Research interests:
My current research focuses on the micro foundations of exchange rate dynamics; a field called New Micro Exchange Rate Economics. Using the analytical tools of market microstructure, this research investigates the manner in which dispersed information is impounded into spot exchange rates through the trading process. This approach leads to new insights into the origins of exchange rate movements that emphasize the role of heterogeneous information in a non-common knowledge environment.
